Da Shifu and his Shigong
In 1992, Shigong Nathaniel Cardona started his training in Northern Shou Shu under (now) Da Shifu Jim Clark. Finding Northern Shou Shu to both be of great influence and a positive force in his life, Shigong Cardona continued his training until 1995, when he earned his 1st degree Black Belt (The Way of the Bear). He would continue to train, eventually earning his 2nd (The Way of the Tiger), and his 3rd degree Black Belt (The Way of the Mongoose), his 4th degree Black Belt (the Way of the Crane), and subsequently, his 5th degree Black Belt (The Way of the Mantis), In 2016, Shigong Cardona established his own school, Red Dragon Shou Shu, Modesto, a life-long dream of his.
Currently, in addition to being a teacher (very different than an instructor) and mentor to his students, Shigong Cardona is working on earning his 6th degree Black belt (The Way of the Cobra).
Shigong Cardona's objective as head of Red Dragon Shou Shu, Modesto, is to provide people in his community with the skills to succeed in life by training them in Northern Shou Shu, through which they can gain a great sense of self-respect, honor, and worth.
